James Williams

I'm James, an artist and animator with a passion for storytelling, character design, and expressive hand-drawn animation. My work draws from animation, manga, games, and tabletop roleplaying, with a particular love for strong silhouettes, distinctive characters, and traditional media.

I work across illustration, character design, ink, and watercolour, while continuing to explore the relationship between drawing and animation. I'm especially interested in how timing, movement, and visual simplicity can be used to create memorable performances and tell stories.
