A single-sitting brush drawing of a cat folded perfectly into its own oval world.
Process notes
Drawn in one sitting with a loaded brush — no pencil underdrawing. The challenge was committing to the big outer oval first and letting everything else find its place inside it.
The hatching marks do double duty: they suggest the cat's fur and the vibration of a deep, unbothered sleep.
